About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Security Guard to help protect guests, associates, and property. The role is part of a hospitality organization focused on respectful, authentic service and an inclusive, employee-focused workplace. The guard patrols the property during all shifts, responds to complaints and calls for help, and helps maintain a safe environment. The position also involves monitoring security systems, assisting guests when needed, and completing an end-of-shift report.

The hiring process may include a phone interview, interviews with managers, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Paid Time Off is available to eligible associates in accordance with company policy; specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a security role.
• At least a high school education.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Authoritative verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school education preferred.
• Peace Officer training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the property, inside and out, during all shifts.
• Check doors and stairwells to ensure they are secure.
• Respond to complaints and calls for help.
• Purchase, maintain, and monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
• Escort unruly patrons and loiterers from the property.
• Assist with securing a taxi for inebriated guests.
• Complete a report at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
