About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Observer for a commercial real estate location in Atlanta, Georgia. The role serves and safeguards clients by conducting unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The officer responds to security-related concerns, communicates clearly, and provides customer service while following site procedures and policies. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicating with appropriate contacts and emergency services as directed.
Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
