About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Guard Enhanced in Mullins, South Carolina, at a food and beverage production location. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The stated pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

The role involves customer service, site security procedures, access monitoring, facility patrols, incident response, and reporting. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed work and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law. Applicable licensing may be required before employment; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
