About The Position

As a Security Guard Retail in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. The role includes providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. This is a full-time position paying $25.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 2:30 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions; report policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Accurately and completely document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
