About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a temporary, part-time Security Guard Reception Communications professional for a healthcare location in Branchburg, New Jersey. The role staffs a front desk and provides customer service while managing visitor access, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, and responding to security concerns. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and pays $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, patients, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and access authorization, and maintain visitor records.
Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate logs and complete incident reports, shift activity reports, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
