About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. This is a temporary position paying $24.31 per hour. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
