Full-Time Security Guard/Officer
About The Position
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard/Officer to ensure the safety and security of hotel guests, team members, and property. The role involves monitoring the premises, responding to incidents, and enforcing hotel policies professionally. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. The Security Guard/Officer patrols hotel premises, monitors security systems, and responds to emergencies. The position reports to the Director of Security, Director of Finance, or General Manager. Hotel experience is a plus. No educational minimum is required; applicants should have previous experience in this exact position or a combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the United States, communicate effectively in English, perform the listed physical activities with or without reasonable accommodations, and be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed. A warm, professional demeanor reflecting HVMG’s Culture of Excellence is also expected.
Requirements
- Previous experience in this exact position or a combination of education and experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
