About The Position

Seeking 5 to 10 unarmed Security Guards in the city of Prosper. All shifts are available. Security officers secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. They report irregularities, inform violators of policies and procedures, restrain trespassers when appropriate, identify risks, and notify the appropriate management authority or 911/Police. Officers also document observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, and maintain a written log of daily activities per shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
Have a valid Guard Card.
Possess strong English communication abilities, both written and oral.
Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
Have access to reliable transportation.
Present a positive and confident professional image.
Successfully complete all training required for the position.
Demonstrate the ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
Be drug free.

Responsibilities

Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property.
Monitor surveillance equipment.
Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points, and permit entry.
Sound alarms to obtain help.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
Restrain trespassers, identify risks, and notify appropriate management authority or 911/Police.
Complete reports recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Maintain a written log of daily activities per shift.
