About The Position

Seeking to hire up to 10 security guards for the city of Frisco. Morning, afternoon, and graveyard shifts are available. Security officers secure premises and personnel through property patrols, surveillance monitoring, building and access-point inspections, and controlling entry. They report irregularities and risks, inform violators of policies and procedures, restrain trespassers when appropriate, and notify management or emergency services as needed. Officers also document observations, incidents, and surveillance activities and maintain a written log of daily activities for each shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
• Have a valid permanent Texas Guard Card.
• Have strong English communication abilities, both written and oral.
• Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
• Have access to reliable transportation.
• Present a positive, confident, and professional image.
• Successfully complete all training required for the position.
• Be able to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Be drug free.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property.
• Monitor surveillance equipment.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Permit entry.
• Sound alarms to obtain help.
• Report irregularities, risks, and potential losses or damage.
• Inform violators of policies and procedures.
• Restrain trespassers.
• Notify appropriate management authority or 911/Police of risks or incidents.
• Record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities in reports.
• Maintain a written log of daily activities per shift.
