About The Position

The Security Guard Officer secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. The officer responds to incidents by sounding alarms, reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies and procedures, restraining trespassers, identifying risks, and notifying appropriate management or 911/police. The officer completes reports documenting observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, and maintains a written log of daily activities during each shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
Have a valid Guard Card.
Possess strong written and oral English communication abilities.
Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
Have access to reliable transportation.
Present a positive and confident professional image.
Successfully complete all training required for the position.
Demonstrate the ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
Be drug free.
