About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced Armed Patrol Driver in Donna, Texas. The position is assigned to a designated site and weekly shift that serves as a fixed base schedule, with a required six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform, providing the opportunity to increase their hours up to 40 per week while retaining the option to scale back. The role pays $14.00 per hour and includes a scheduled Sunday shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The role provides security and customer service at a retail site. The employee conducts armed patrols, monitors activity and access points, responds to incidents, documents security concerns, and maintains required armed-post qualifications while following company, client, and legal requirements.

Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, customer disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and delivery activity for unusual conditions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and policy violations.
• Maintain required armed-post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal, client, and applicable legal requirements.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
