About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a warehouse facility in Penns Grove, New Jersey. The Security Officer is responsible for protecting the facility by managing access at the guard desk and truck gate, verifying people entering the site, and maintaining organized and accurate records. The role requires attentiveness, sound judgment, and a steady, professional presence.

The posting lists three part-time schedules: Tuesday and Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; or Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Each schedule is 16 hours per week. The hourly wage is $18.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the facility and verify the identities of employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers.
• Check in and log trucks, trailers, and deliveries at the gate.
• Issue and track visitor badges and maintain accurate entry logs.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems from the guard post.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats.
• Report security system malfunctions or vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
