About The Position

As a Security Guard Access Control in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including financial institutions. In this unarmed patrol role at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and support a professional environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. The position is full-time and pays $28.00 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least four years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and visitor management while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors.
