About The Position

As a Security Guard Access Control Coordinator in Stockton, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution setting. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role also involves delivering customer service and supporting a professional environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The position is full-time and pays $18.60 per hour. The posted schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain access records in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Document daily activities, visitor information, incidents, and security-related observations in clear and accurate reports.
