About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer for a retail center in Chula Vista. The officer will help safeguard clients by providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $19 per hour and requires an active California guard card and open availability.

Requirements

• Must have an active California guard card.
• Must have open availability.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
