Flex Retail Security Officer
About The Position
We are hiring a Flex Retail Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and vendors. The role also includes keeping records, inspecting for safety risks, supporting loss prevention, and assisting customers, employees, and visitors. Officers are expected to arrive on time in full uniform, remain engaged and proactive throughout their shift, and follow post orders, training, safety, and compliance requirements.
Requirements

- Minimum 3–6 months of prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, or access computer systems.
- High attentiveness and situational awareness.
- Dependable and team-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity.
- Control access points and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents, and safety concerns.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems.
- Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times.
- Follow post orders, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols.
- Inspect property for safety risks, including fire hazards and equipment issues.
- Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements.
- Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
- Provide directions and support as needed.
- Maintain a visible, approachable presence on-site.
- Arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work.
- Stay engaged and proactive throughout the shift.
