About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Ambassador to monitor and protect people and property. The role requires keen observation, the ability to anticipate risks, and quick, appropriate responses to threats or incidents. Physical ability is essential, as the employee will patrol and remain on their feet throughout the shift.

The position is located in San Francisco, California, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Wednesday through Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of security officer experience.
• Hold a California BSIS Guard Card and complete an additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Be comfortable standing or walking throughout the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• Corporate security experience is preferred.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
