About The Position

As a Sector Specialist on AlphaSense’s Directed Content team, you will enhance the quality and efficiency of proprietary research content within the Healthcare sector. Reporting to the Director of Research, Healthcare, you will support Directed Content operations by leading strategic projects and process initiatives. The role combines healthcare sector expertise with project management to improve operational performance, shape content strategy, and partner with stakeholders across the organization. The Directed Content Team generates calls on high-value and strategic content targets for the AlphaSense Expert Transcript Library (ETL). The team identifies, recruits, and onboards experts worldwide to produce high-quality, relevant interviews. The Expert Insights group includes the ETL and 1x1 Call Services and provides market intelligence through interviews with business operators. The base compensation range is $110,000–$130,000 USD. Candidates may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a benefits program.

Requirements

5–7 years of experience in equity research at a sell-side bank, investment firm, hedge fund, research provider, or expert network; alternatively, comparable healthcare industry experience in areas such as biopharma or medtech strategy, competitive intelligence, business development, or healthcare consulting.
Deep expertise in Healthcare, including a strong grasp of key players, business models, and industry trends.
Proven ability to lead projects, manage deadlines, and meet business targets.
Original and independent thinking, with strong analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and broadly within an organization where information-sharing is critical.
Intellectual curiosity, a client-oriented approach, and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with Directed Content stakeholders to lead projects and process initiatives that improve operational performance.
Provide healthcare-sector expertise to Engineering and Product teams, including input on and quality assurance for new AlphaSense products and features.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of expert transcripts, particularly interviews conducted with the AI interviewer and third-party vendors.
Work with the Content Innovation and Strategy team to identify and develop directed content streams for the AI-led interviewer.
Identify strong, insightful healthcare ETL content for AlphaSense promotional activities and support other content initiatives as needed.
Gather, synthesize, and distribute customer feedback on healthcare ETL coverage to identify and implement process and content improvements.
Establish and maintain feedback loops with project teams to improve the quality and insight of future content.
Partner with Operations and Product teams to pilot and optimize AI-enabled tools that improve project throughput and QA precision.
