•$147,600 - $221,400•Onsite

About The Position

The Section Manager leads technical work, project execution, and talent management within the Tracking Architecture Performance Department (TAPD), part of the Enterprise Effects Division’s Integrated Performance Subdivision. TAPD conducts model-based analyses of tracking performance across architecture scenarios in nominal and contested environments, supporting missile defense, space domain awareness, surveillance, missile warning, and missile tracking missions. Its work includes architecture evaluations, what-if analyses, and the development, tuning, and optimization of multi-sensor tracking algorithms. The Section Manager reports directly to the department Director and spends at least 50% of their time on direct technical contributions. The role provides modeling, simulation, and analysis expertise for space-, air-, and ground-based systems of systems. It also oversees section deliverables, guides and assigns work, develops customer and collaborator relationships, and leads hiring, onboarding, mentoring, training, and performance evaluation activities. The position is onsite at El Segundo, Colorado Springs, Huntsville, or Chantilly, with limited hybrid telework opportunities.
