About The Position
As a member of the production team, the Seat assembler will be responsible for assembling and/or fitting parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or power or special assembly tools.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements of drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities
- Use hand and power tools to assemble seat components according to specifications and instructions
- Identify and report any problems related to the product, process, and quality system
- Assure Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to Lear’s “5S” and “World Class Housekeeping” standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals, performance goals, and objectives
