About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, part-time Warehouse Associate in Romeoville, Illinois. The role supports package handling during the holiday season and includes training; previous warehouse experience is not required. The position is scheduled Sunday through Wednesday, typically from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. or until the sort ends. Shift end times and hours may vary based on package volume and business needs. The season runs from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent openings after the assignment, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

The work is active and hands-on. Associates unload, sort, move, and load packages, help keep them organized and moving safely, and work with a team to get packages to their next destination on time. Packages may weigh up to 30–50 pounds for individual handling, with team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay is listed as $18.90 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Overtime pay is provided in accordance with applicable law, and scheduled overtime may be required when business needs require it. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. A $500 seasonal bonus is advertised; eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment, and additional terms may apply. The position requires applicants to be at least 18, authorized to work in the United States, dependable and available for scheduled shifts, and able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.
