About The Position

Guitar Center's Seasonal Support serves as the face of the store by greeting customers, understanding their needs, recommending appropriate products, and helping close sales. The role supports Guitar Center's mission to nurture lifelong musicians and create inclusive, customer-first environments. Seasonal Support also helps customers with service needs, maintains store readiness and displays, and builds customer relationships for future business.

Requirements

Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong orientation toward providing excellent customer service.
High attention to detail.

Intermediate knowledge of musical instruments sold at Guitar Center, such as guitars, drums, and technology products.

Responsibilities

Reach sales targets on services.
Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers.
Assist customers and guide them through the sales process.
Continue learning through onboarding, certification, and continuing education.
Assist with tasks to ensure the store is ready to conduct business and serve customers.
Monitor inventory levels and replenish displays as needed.
Build relationships with customers to fulfill future service needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
