About The Position

Guitar Center’s Seasonal Support serves as a customer-facing representative in the store, greeting customers, understanding their needs, recommending products, and supporting sales. The role contributes to Guitar Center’s mission of helping people experience the joy of creating music and works to provide an inclusive, customer-first environment.

Successful candidates are customer-focused, approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, and committed to helping customers. They take initiative, learn quickly, communicate clearly and courteously with diverse people, and build their product and sales knowledge through Guitar Center’s certification program.

The position pays starting at $18.47 per hour, depending on background and experience. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other factors, and pay ranges may differ by location.

Responsibilities

• Reach sales targets on services.
• Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers.
• Assist customers and guide them through the sales process.
• Continue learning through onboarding, certification, and continuing education.
• Help execute tasks needed to keep the store ready for business and customer service.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish displays as needed.
• Build customer relationships to fulfill future service needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
