About The Position

As a Seasonal Support team member at Guitar Center, you will serve as the face of the store by greeting customers, identifying their needs, recommending suitable products, and helping close sales. The role focuses on providing an excellent customer experience, demonstrating product and service knowledge, and building customer relationships to support future service needs. You will also learn through onboarding, certification, and continuing education, and help keep the store ready to serve customers.

Requirements

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong orientation toward providing excellent customer service.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, positively, and courteously with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and develop knowledge of products, store operations, sales, and leadership.
• Ability to work through the Guitar Center certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.

• Intermediate knowledge of musical instruments sold at Guitar Center, including guitars, drums, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Reach sales targets on services.
• Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers.
• Assist customers and guide them through the sales process.

• Assist with tasks required to keep the store ready for business and customer service.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish displays as needed.
• Build customer relationships to fulfill future service needs.
