About The Position

The Seasonal Store Sales Associate sells Deseret Book products and services while providing exceptional customer service. The role is based at the Draper, Utah store and is seasonal and part-time, with a stated wage of $14.55 per hour. The starting date is listed as immediately. Associates assist customers in person and over the phone, operate cash registers, locate products, take orders, imprint items, and gift-wrap. They also help maintain the store’s appearance and organization by stocking shelves, unpacking shipments, and supporting merchandise presentation. The position requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays other than Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and requires working through the holiday season.

Requirements

Ability to interact with customers in person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis.

Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates.

Ability to regularly lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift 35–50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work through the holiday season.
