About The Position

The Seasonal Stock associate receives shipments, maintains accurate inventory records, and organizes stockroom and off-site locations. The role supports the sales team by replenishing the sales floor after shipments and during recovery periods, and may assist on the sales floor during peak times. Associates also complete assigned daily tasks, which may include store maintenance, lighting, and cleaning. The position requires following company policies and stockroom procedures to help minimize loss.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred, along with stockroom or related work experience.
• Basic product knowledge preferred but not required.
• Effective time-management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to remain mobile in the stockroom or on the sales floor for extended periods.
• Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 pounds, using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
• Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet business needs.
• Part-time Flex associates must be available for at least two regularly scheduled weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and two weekday shifts (Monday through Thursday). Weekend availability must be on two separate days.
• Associates scheduled for 20 or more hours weekly must have greater availability beyond the stated minimum to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify high customer service standards for internal and external customers.
• Scan shipments as delivered.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stockroom or prepare it for immediate distribution to the sales floor.
• Provide feedback to a supervisor about inventory levels and damaged merchandise.
• Organize stockroom merchandise by department and category, placing it on appropriate shelves or in off-site locations.
• Adjust stocking procedures to keep aisles and exits clear.
• Ensure merchandise is safely stored, properly ticketed, packaged, logged, and easy to locate for replenishment.
• Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries as required.
• Transport merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep the stockroom clean, swept, and organized, with garbage removed and supplies arranged.
• Assist on the sales floor during peak times or as assigned.
• Complete daily agenda tasks or other assigned work, including store maintenance, lighting, and cleaning.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and follow stockroom procedures to minimize company loss.
• Use appropriate equipment and safety techniques when lifting and moving merchandise.
