About The Position

The B-Helpful Professional is an energetic, engaged resource for customers and associates throughout the store. The role supports Bloomingdale’s goal of delivering an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. The associate manages an in-store service hub, assisting customers with Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders, straightforward returns, tourism information, and appointments for in-store services. The role also involves greeting and engaging customers, using technology, and supporting merchandising and operational needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; candidates with this qualification are encouraged to apply.
No experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
May need to reach, crouch, kneel, or stoop, and must have color vision.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
