About The Position

Bloomingdale’s is seeking a Seasonal Service Associate, described in the posting as a B-Helpful Professional. This highly energetic and engaged team member serves as a go-to resource for customers and associates throughout the store, helping create an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. The role manages an in-store service hub and supports customers with Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders, easy returns, tourism information, and booking appointments for in-store services. The position also includes greeting and engaging customers, using technology, and participating in merchandising and operational tasks.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; color vision may be involved.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and a cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
