About The Position

The B-Helpful Professional is an energetic, engaged resource for customers and associates throughout the store. The role supports Bloomingdale’s mission of delivering a distinctive, easy, and enjoyable shopping experience through speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. The associate manages an in-store service hub, assisting customers with Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders, simple returns, tourism information, and booking appointments for in-store services. The position also involves greeting and engaging customers, using technology, and participating in merchandising and operational activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent encouraged; candidates without this qualification are not excluded.
No experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop as needed; and have color vision.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
