About The Position

Hotel Leo is seeking a Seasonal Server to provide coverage for special seasonal events and live music during the holiday season. The role begins November 16, 2026, and ends January 3, 2027. The Server creates memorable dining experiences by engaging guests, guiding them through menu offerings, identifying upselling opportunities, and delivering attentive service. This position supports successful guest dining experiences through accurate order handling, appealing food and beverage presentation, and a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server in a similar restaurant environment.
• Ability to perform essential functions using a computerized Point of Sale system.
• Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
• Necessary state Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s).

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders and serve food and beverage items according to established standards.
• Enter orders into the computerized Point of Sale system and communicate special requests to the culinary team.
• Assemble food items, including appetizers, salads, and soups.
• Ensure attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages.
• Ensure food and beverages are served at the correct temperature.
• Maintain current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items.
• Process guest payments using proper accounting and cash-handling procedures.
• Keep the work area, including the guest dining area, clean and organized.
• Engage guests, explain menu offerings, identify upselling opportunities, and deliver attentive service.
