About The Position

POP MART is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to support its retail team during the holiday shopping period. The role is temporary and seasonal, with employment expected to conclude at the end of the designated seasonal period, though the end date may vary with business needs. Continued employment may be considered based on business needs, individual performance, and available positions, but is not guaranteed.

The associate serves as a brand ambassador, creating memorable customer experiences and sharing knowledge and enthusiasm about POP MART characters and collectible products. The role supports sales goals and daily store operations, including transactions, merchandising, replenishment, shipment processing, inventory handling, and maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming store. Associates also help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches during busy periods.

The position is located in Happy Valley, Oregon, and pays a fixed rate of $17.50 per hour. It is classified as temporary, seasonal, and non-exempt, and is eligible for overtime pay under applicable laws.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in creating positive shopping experiences.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and safely use ladders or step stools.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
• Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to operate standard retail equipment and stockroom tools, including handheld scanners, box cutters, and ladders.

• Familiarity with POP MART characters, products, and the collectible toy community.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Share product knowledge, character stories, and enthusiasm for POP MART collectible art toys.
• Help customers find products through personalized recommendations and thoughtful engagement.
• Support store sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store that reflects POP MART brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, shipment processing, and stockroom organization.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with store leadership and team members to meet daily operational needs, particularly during peak holiday periods.
