As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and smart selling behaviors to meet sales goals, build trust, and encourage loyalty. The role also involves keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. They welcome customers, build relationships through friendly conversations, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, share loyalty program benefits, and provide a sincere farewell. They collaborate with teammates, pursue continuous improvement, and work toward individual and store results. This is a part-time position. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week, depending on business needs and availability. All schedules include weekend shifts. The role requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as regular attendance and punctuality. Physical requirements include talking, lifting, frequent movement and standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Colleagues must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds. The role also requires specified visual abilities and frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
