About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate delivers Best of the WEST customer service by building customer relationships and helping customers find products that meet their needs. The role involves maintaining merchandise knowledge, using effective selling techniques, and contributing to store sales goals while creating an exceptional shopping experience. Sales Associates also help keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing, support daily store operations, and follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.
Ability to sell merchandise effectively while achieving individual and store performance goals.
Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the work shift.
Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies, in accordance with company policies.
Ability to comprehend basic instructions, interpret documents, and apply them to daily tasks.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to read and understand English.
Ability to remain alert and productive during assigned work hours.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, engage with them throughout their shopping experience, and thank them for their business.
Identify customer needs, recommend products, and provide knowledgeable, personalized service.
Use effective selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, company programs, and current Western and workwear trends.
Assist customers with product selection, special orders, and locating merchandise.
Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing by stocking merchandise, recovering displays, and completing housekeeping tasks, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
Ensure merchandise is displayed, signed, stocked, and located according to company standards.
Remain attentive to store safety and security and promptly report concerns to store management.
Report to work on time and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
Assist with merchandising updates, price changes, inventory projects, and other assigned store tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
