About The Position

Deseret Book is hiring a seasonal, part-time Store Sales Associate at its Spanish Fork, Utah store. The associate sells Deseret Book products and services while providing exceptional customer service. The role also supports store operations by assisting customers with purchases and orders, maintaining merchandise displays and store organization, and working varied shifts during the holiday season.

Requirements

Interact with customers in person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good team skills.
Be self-motivated.
Be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Be able to work through the holiday season.
Be able to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates.
Be able to locate and identify products for customers.
Regularly lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift 35–50 pounds.
Stand for long periods of time.

Assist customers by operating cash registers, locating products, taking orders, imprinting, and gift-wrapping.
