Seasonal Sales Associate - New York
About The Position
Vivienne Westwood is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join the Retail Team at its New York store on a seasonal, part-time basis. The role supports sales floor and stockroom operations during the busiest trading period, helping deliver an exceptional client experience, drive sales, maintain store standards, and support the day-to-day running of the boutique. The Seasonal Sales Associate provides customer service, builds client relationships, develops product knowledge, supports sales targets, and assists with stock, merchandising, transactions, store events, and housekeeping. The role also requires following company policies and health and safety guidelines and representing the Vivienne Westwood brand positively. Additional duties may be required to fulfil the role.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Passion for luxury fashion and the Vivienne Westwood brand.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holiday trading periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a memorable shopping experience.
- Build strong relationships with clients and develop product knowledge across all categories.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Support the team during peak trading periods.
- Assist with stock replenishment and maintain product availability on the shop floor.
- Receive, process, and organise stock deliveries.
- Support stock transfers, returns, and inventory movements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the store and stockroom.
- Assist with visual merchandising and window displays as directed.
- Process transactions accurately through the POS system.
- Support store events, launches, and promotional activities.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the Vivienne Westwood brand.
- Perform additional duties as required to fulfil the requirements of the role.
