The Seasonal Sales Associate is a temporary role supporting increased business needs during the holiday shopping period at POP MART’s Glendale, California store. The associate serves as a brand ambassador, creating memorable shopping experiences and sharing enthusiasm and product knowledge about POP MART’s characters and collectibles. The role also supports daily store operations, maintains an engaging shopping environment, and provides exceptional customer service. Seasonal employment is expected to conclude at the end of the designated seasonal period, though the date may change with business needs. Continued employment may be considered but is not guaranteed.

The position pays a fixed rate of $17.28 per hour, is classified as non-exempt, and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The role involves working on the sales floor, in the stockroom, and in receiving areas. Physical duties include frequently moving merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds; standing and walking for typically 6–8 hours per shift; bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, and using ladders or step stools; and performing repetitive stocking, unpacking, pricing, and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Share product knowledge, character stories, and enthusiasm for POP MART collectibles.
• Recommend products to customers through personalized engagement.
• Support store sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store that reflects POP MART’s brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, shipment processing, and stockroom organization.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with store leadership and team members to meet daily operational needs, especially during peak holiday periods.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as stocking merchandise, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
• Operate standard retail equipment and stockroom tools, including handheld scanners, box cutters, and ladders.
