As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you blend results-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create standout holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with products and services. On the sales floor and in the fitting room, you use warmth, product knowledge, and a personal approach to create memorable visits, build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire customer loyalty. The role is centered on customer service, selling, teamwork, and creating welcoming experiences. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and engage customers with friendly, personal conversations. They maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selected merchandise returns to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another and work to improve their performance and contribute to individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled to work 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
