As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with relevant products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and personal service to build trust and loyalty, and work toward sales goals. The position also involves maintaining a clean, organized, inviting, and shoppable sales space. Colleagues prepare for each day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. Throughout the day, they welcome customers, build relationships through friendly conversations, maintain merchandise and displays, process damages and vendor returns, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, help customers complete their shopping experience, and collaborate with teammates to improve customer service and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled to work 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. The role requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as dependable attendance and punctuality.
