As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. Working on the sales floor or in fitting rooms, you use warmth, product knowledge, and a personal approach to make visits memorable, meet selling goals, and build customer loyalty. The role also involves keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, popular products, trends, and promotions, and helping ensure the sales floor is ready for customers. They engage customers through friendly, personal conversations; maintain a shoppable space by merchandising merchandise, processing damages and vendor returns, updating signs and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves; and finish customer interactions by sharing Loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have what they need, and thanking them. Teamwork, continuous improvement, and achieving individual and store results are also important parts of the role. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
