About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create positive holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services on the sales floor or in the fitting room. You work toward sales goals through customer engagement and effective selling behaviors, helping build trust and customer loyalty. The role also includes keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and popular items, and stay informed about trends and promotions. During the day, they welcome customers, build friendly relationships, maintain merchandise and displays, process damages and vendor returns, update signs and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves. They share loyalty-program benefits and provide a courteous, personalized close to each customer interaction. Colleagues support one another, collaborate to serve customers and communities, and work to improve their individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The position involves frequent customer and coworker interaction, use of electronic devices and register equipment, and physical activity including standing, moving, reaching, and lifting.
