As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and smart selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals and build customer trust and loyalty. The role includes helping customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, as well as keeping the shopping area clean, organized, and inviting. Daily work includes preparing the sales floor, reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and engaging customers in friendly, personal conversations. You help maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, returning selected merchandise to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. You also share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere, personalized checkout experience. Colleagues support one another and work to improve, learn, and achieve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
