About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You understand customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, connect them with suitable products and services, and use product knowledge and engaging service to build trust, meet sales goals, and inspire loyalty. The role is centered on customer service and selling, rather than simply cashiering, and also includes keeping the shopping area clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review goals, and learn about new arrivals, popular items, trends, and promotions. During the day, they welcome customers, build friendly personal relationships, maintain merchandise presentation, process damages and merchandise returns to vendors, update signs and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, help customers complete their visit, and collaborate with coworkers to support store and individual results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. Flexible availability is required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves frequent technology use and physical activity, including standing, moving, reaching, lifting, and climbing ladders.
