As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and smart selling behaviors to meet sales goals, and help build trust and customer loyalty. You also keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and prepare the sales floor. During the day, they welcome customers and build relationships through friendly, personal conversations. They maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selected merchandise returns to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration, while continually learning and working toward individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
