About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Overnight Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes customer purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; prepares and merchandises products for the sales floor; and contributes to store recovery, cleanliness, organization, and shrink reduction. Other duties may be assigned. The position is at the TJ Maxx Store 0827 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The starting pay range is USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour, with actual starting pay based on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The role is seasonal. Benefits are subject to applicable plan or program terms and may change.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and embodying customer experience principles.
Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.

Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
May be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.
