About The Position

The Retail Operations Associate supports store operations and helps create an exceptional shopping experience through customer service, high execution standards, and efficient operational processes. The role processes merchandise received at the store, maintains an organized and accessible backroom in partnership with the Freight Flow/Operations Lead, and upholds merchandising and presentation standards. Associates support freight and other operational tasks while following safety, loss prevention, confidentiality, and standard operating procedures. They help create an inclusive environment and support the team across the store.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and repetitively lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. up to 25 times per hour.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of up to 4 hours.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods, up to 2 hours continuously.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers, proactively approach athletes, understand their needs, and support their shopping experience.
• Process merchandise received at the store in accordance with established programs and procedures.
• Keep the backroom organized and merchandise accessible in partnership with the Freight Flow/Operations Lead.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards.
• Assist with unloading trucks, processing freight, executing transfers, handling RTVs and claims, and other freight-processing tasks.
• Complete processes according to company service-level standards to fulfill the defined customer experience.
• Follow safety, loss-prevention, and standard operating procedures, and maintain confidentiality of Company information.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
