Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, Stockton Sherwood
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the sales floor. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, and assisting with transactions. You anticipate team needs, keep the department ready for customers, and help create positive customer experiences during the busy season. The role calls for flexible team players who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Colleagues help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and prepared; stay informed about sales goals, new products, popular items, trends, and promotions; and engage customers through friendly, personal service. They maintain a shoppable department by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, selecting merchandise for vendor returns, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They also share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and communities and achieve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Actual hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.

- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.

- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and shoppable fragrance department.
- Prepare products and restock and merchandise displays, including new receipts.
- Process damages and testers and select merchandise for return to vendors.
- Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves.
- Welcome customers, build relationships through friendly and personal conversations, and assist with transactions.
- Stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
- Collaborate with and support colleagues to serve customers and achieve individual and store results.
