As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you blend results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services on the sales floor or in fitting rooms. You use product knowledge and customer engagement to meet selling goals, build trust, and inspire customer loyalty. The role also includes maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space. Colleagues start each day by preparing the sales floor, reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling products, trends, and promotions, and getting ready to assist customers. During the day, they build customer relationships through friendly, personal conversations; maintain a shoppable environment by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, returning selected merchandise to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves; and share loyalty program benefits while ensuring customers have what they need. Teamwork, continuous improvement, and achieving individual and store sales results are important parts of the role. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled to work 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
