About The Position

Macy’s is hiring a Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate to help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. The role combines customer service and sales support: maintaining a fully stocked, beautifully merchandised space; preparing products; restocking displays; and supporting the sales team on the floor and behind the scenes. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. The role requires flexible availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.

Responsibilities

Help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and ready for customers.
Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions.
Welcome customers, make eye contact, and have friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
Merchandise new receipts and maintain a shoppable fragrance space.
Process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors.
Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves as needed.
Support sales transactions and the sales team on the floor and behind the scenes.
Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them sincerely.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to individual and store results.
