Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, St Charles Town Center
About The Position
The Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague helps create a warm, inviting experience in Macy’s fragrance department. The role maintains a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked, shop-ready space while supporting the sales team both behind the scenes and on the sales floor. Duties include preparing products, restocking displays, assisting with transactions, and providing attentive hospitality during the busy seasonal period. Colleagues are expected to be flexible team players who can manage multiple tasks and work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements

- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
- Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers, make eye contact, and have friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable fragrance area by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, and selecting merchandise for return to vendors.
- Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank customers sincerely at the end of their visit.
- Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
- Work toward sales goals, take pride in the work, and learn from colleagues to contribute to individual and store results.
- Assist with customer transactions using register and handheld technology.
