About The Position

As a Fulfillment Colleague, you help create a seamless, personalized shopping experience for omni-channel customers. The role combines sales-floor engagement with back-of-house fulfillment: selecting merchandise, packing and shipping online orders, and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup. You greet customers, resolve issues professionally, and contribute to sales, customer loyalty, and store operations. Daily work may include reviewing goals and promotions, receiving and tagging merchandise, organizing the stockroom, and preparing the store for business. You engage with customers, fulfill orders accurately, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, restock merchandise, and support merchandise moves. You also share loyalty program benefits, complete orders, and help prepare the team for the next day. The role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, operational excellence, and achieving sales goals. The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. Macy’s describes full-time colleagues as typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week and part-time colleagues as typically scheduled for 12–24 hours per week. The posting identifies this position as seasonal.
